The ELA standards I feel that I am the most ready are using different digital media and using many sources. The various work I have done throughout high school and college has taught me that using reliable resources is probably the most important thing when trying to seem credible in anything I do. Sources such as photos and videos can be used in a presentation to illustrate an aspect of a lesson. Maybe a standard that I need to work on is producing multi-media products to show my students. I don't really know how to make videos and presentations for students so that's something I'll have to work on. The technology software concept I'd use would be the socializing concept. The passion that teachers have to help their students learn to the best of their ability could very well influence them to use technology in the classroom. Using technology in the classroom can help students stay involved in the lesson all while helping them develop their knowledge about technology itself. Certain subject and concepts can be taught better through the use of technology, for example, teaching algebra and geometry could be easier understood on a smartboard rather than a dry-erase board. A smart board allows for precise, shapes, lines and measurements, and students can still go up themselves and use the board per the teacher's  permission.  What might influence students into using technology is their attention and interest in whatever being taught. My experience with Microsoft word is probably what most students experience. I've used it to right essays, letter, reports, projects, stories, etc. The way I've seen my teachers do it is using it for class notes or to make newsletters and handouts. I've used Word to write news articles for my school's newsmagazine. My experience with copyright and fair use has been pretty extensive. I've taken many mass media and communications classes and we always go over copyright and fair use. As a writer, I have to worry about plagiarism and making sure everything in my story is true and original.
