The website I chose to look at was my old high school's website. On the website you can access School Year Academic Calendars, school news. class info, and summer assignment links. This page is a general one for both students and teachers, as well as anyone, who fro some reason, wants to look at the homepage. For any student trying to look at their individual classes and grades, they need to login to edline. The link to the website is http://www.edline.net/pages/A_W_Dreyfoos_school_of_Arts
As someone who wants to teach high school students I can really see myself using the portfolio assessment software, especially for grades. But it can also help keep track of all the students work and their progress, as well as serve as a convenient format for easy management.
When I went to the sandbox I was immediately drawn to the virtual reality set. VR is very useful in th classroom especially for visual learners. Yea  can see objects in 3 dimensions and use VR for other geometric studies. You can also use VR as a method of field trips. Virtual tours can be incredibly helpful if you're not able to take your class somewhere. Another tool I found useful were the smartboards. You can pretty much teach anything on the smartboards but I see it more for math and sciences, but even arts and music.
