The "Flipped Classroom" is a different way of teaching and learning. What happens in a flipped classroom is that students are assigned to view recorded lectures at home that their instructors prepare for them. The students do this before they discuss the material in a classroom setting. Since students already have a basis of the material due to the lectures, the teacher and students spend class time actually engaging with the material, analyzing it, and discussing it. I find this method to be pretty useful, it gives students a chance to be able to use the teacher as a resource during activities. Biology videos.
